We are thrilled to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Aisling Clifford, a stalwart member of the Holloway Gaels, on her recent election as the London LGFA County Board Chairperson for 2024.
Aisling's dedication and passion for the LGFA has been evident throughout her London footballing career both with Holloway and in previous roles on the County Board. Before the challenges brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic, Aisling held the crucial position of vice chairperson, demonstrating her commitment to the growth and development of ladies' Gaelic football in London. She played a pivotal role in organising the first set of fixtures post-lockdown.
Aisling's election as County Board Chairperson is a testament to her dedication and leadership within the London LGFA community. We have no doubt that under her guidance, the County Board will continue to flourish.
Joining Aisling in the ranks of the newly elected officials is another member of the Holloway Gaels, Angie Fenton. Angie has been elected as the County Board Treasurer and we have no doubt will excel in this role.
We extend our warmest congratulations to Aisling and Angie and offer our best wishes to all the members of the London County Board for a successful and sporting 2024.
