Word from the Manager: “It has been an absolute pleasure working with the HG Junior team. We have had huge improvement in each of the league games in what was a very competitive division, culminating with matching St. Kiernan’s in the 2nd half of our last group game. Our HG junior team are making a huge impression and gaining great match experience, so much so they are firmly in the intermediate plans – great indicator of progress.
We are getting great numbers at training that now needs to be maintained. We need you ALL to do your own fitness work too. The HG junior management team will be putting in additional slots in the coming weeks in advance of our first Championship outing on the 15th June – The business end of the season”
Big shout out to our brilliant captain Sinéad and vice captain Lia. They have really brought great leadership and have been so good at helping the NLS younger crew settle in.”

Due to pitch/referee logistics, only two of the three group games were played in the Division 1 league.
Word from the Manager: “It has been a short league with only 2 group games due to the referee availability for Round 1 and I think we could have done with a few more games. Our performance overall was OK during the league but there is plenty more to come and areas to improve on. It’s been good to be involved in a great club with lots of good people.”
